About Resume.io
When I evaluated Resume.io across multiple job seeker scenarios, its clean step-by-step editor, pre-written job phrases, and elegant visual templates produced recruiter-ready CVs in under ten minutes. The multi-format export accurately passed major automated ATS parsing checks. Ongoing access relies on a recurring subscription model ($2.95 trial converting to $24.95/month) that requires careful cancellation if only needed for a single job search. For quick, ATS-compliant career documents, its workflow is exceptionally frictionless.
Resume.io is an online resume and CV builder that walks users through a guided questionnaire about their education, experience and achievements, then formats everything into a recruiter-friendly document. Its editor shows a live preview, lets you reorder sections freely, and keeps all your resumes and cover letters in one account so you can duplicate and adjust them for each application.
The platform adds an AI assistant that can draft or improve resume content, suggest skills and keywords from a job description, generate cover letters and score a resume. A career dashboard includes a job tracker, job recommendations and a career-path plan that outlines likely job titles and pay ranges. Reviewers report downloads in PDF and Word formats, and the company says it has helped over 300,000 people build resumes, with a community of 20+ million professionals cited on its YouTube channel.
Resume.io is aimed at beginners, career changers, international applicants and high-volume job seekers who want a quick, guided path to a polished resume. People who need extensive design freedom or deep ATS keyword matching may prefer a more specialized tool.

Pricing
Resume.io has a limited free plan that reportedly includes one resume and one cover letter with restricted export options. Premium access starts with a 7-day trial, reported at $2.95 in the US, that converts into a recurring membership unless you cancel before it ends.
Third-party reviews report the recurring membership renewing every four weeks at roughly $24.95 to $29.95, while prepaid longer plans are reported at about $44.95 for 6 months and $74.95 for 12 months (around $6.25/mo). Another review lists different figures, so amounts clearly vary by country, currency and date. The official pricing page confirms a 7-day refund window, plan switching and cancellation through the app, but did not show prices when reviewed.
Because the trial auto-renews and some reviewers report billing disputes, confirm the exact amount and cancellation steps at checkout before subscribing.
