FreemiumCeltx has a free plan with 1 seat and 1 project, and new users get a 7-day trial of paid features before they can stay on the free tier. Paid plans are Writer (up to 3 projects, unlimited comments), Writer Pro (unlimited projects, story development tools and episodic scripts), Team (3 to 15 members with production planning tools and private projects), plus Education and Student plans that require contacting sales or a student email.
The official pricing page is served from a redirected host and did not show dollar amounts when reviewed, only a "Save 25%" label on yearly billing. A search listing for the pricing page shows $18.74 per month billed yearly for the robust writing and story development tier, while third-party roundups report roughly $7.50 per month on annual billing for entry-level access and about $15 to $30 per month overall, so these numbers are reported rather than verified.
Most plans can be billed monthly or annually, Education and Student plans are annual only, and the Student plan advertises over 75 percent off the regular price with three years of discounted pricing. Confirm current prices on celtx.com before subscribing.
FreemiumCaktus AI offers a free tier with limited access. To unlock unlimited access to all 25+ AI tools, longer outputs, and premium features like real academic citations and document uploads, a subscription is required. Flexible subscription plans are available.
